Who is eligible for Siouxland Community Media's services?
All non profit organizations or schools located in Sioux City, South Sioux City, North
Sioux City or Sergeant Bluff.
What is the viewing area?
Siouxland Community Media telecasts on CableONE channel 12, which can be seen by
CableONE subscribers in Sioux City, North Sioux City & Sergeant Bluff.
Can I produce a program with Siouxland Community Media, then play it
somewhere else?
Yes, within these terms...
1) The program must debut on channel 12.
2) You may not sell the program, nor have any financial gain from its telecast.
3) The program must credit Siouxland Community Media with on screen text.
Can I include content from sources other than Siouxland Community Media?
Yes, however you must have permission from the author/publisher.
Can I purchase copies of my program?
Yes, copies are available for purchase on VHS tape or DVD.
What will this cost?
Services are provided at no or little cost. Organizations producing their own programs
must purchase any non-renewable material, ie) tapes. Generally a studio program will
cost $10 per show for the non-renewable materials (tapes).
What is are the roles played by Morningside College and CableONE in relation
to Siouxland Community Media?
Morningside College houses the television studio and equipment utilized by Siouxland
Community Media to assist non profit organizations and schools. CableONE provides
the cable channel for Siouxland Community Media to telecast programs on.
